Analytics and marketing cookies are only installed if you accept the banner. If you decline or ignore it, none of them is installed.
The tp_consent cookie stores your decision about the other cookies. It is essential to respect your preference and does not require additional consent. It contains no personal data — just the value "yes" or "no".
On top of the above, we count visits ourselves without storing anything on your device: no cookies, no localStorage, no other storage. That is why this measurement works whether or not you accept the banner, and why we don't ask permission for it.
What we record per visit: the page, the language, the site you arrived from (domain only, never the full address), the campaign parameters of the link you clicked, the country our network provider reports, whether you are on mobile or desktop, how far down the page you scrolled, how long you stayed and which links you clicked.
What we do not record: your IP address, your full browser string, your name, your email, or anything that identifies you. To count distinct people within a single day without knowing who they are, we turn your IP and browser into an irreversible code using a secret key that we change every 24 hours. The deliberate consequence: tomorrow we cannot tell that you were here today. These are aggregate figures; there is no profile, and there is nothing to delete individually because nothing is tied to you.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. Privacy settings we apply:
If you accept the banner, we load the Meta Pixel. We use it for one thing: knowing whether a visit arrived from one of our posts or ads on Facebook or Instagram. It only activates after you accept; if you decline, the pixel never loads.
You can review and limit what Meta does with this information from your Meta account settings.
You have several options:
tp_consent cookie from your browser and reload the page — the banner will appear again.The measurement described in section 4 is not switched off by these options, because it stores nothing on your device and does not identify you. If you would still rather be left out, write to us and we will exclude you from it.
The Osi bot runs 100% inside Telegram. It does not use cookies or web tracking technologies. This policy applies only to the website theplan.travel.
