1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Telegram bot @theplan_travel_bot ("Osi"), the website theplan.travel, or any related service (collectively, "The Plan" or "the Service"), you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

The Plan is an AI-powered travel assistant that operates through Telegram. The "Osi" bot helps you plan trips, compare transport options, generate itineraries, and obtain real-time information about destinations, weather, and points of interest.

The Service uses language models (LLMs), Google Places, Google Directions, weather APIs, and Perplexity to generate recommendations. These recommendations are indicative and do not constitute guarantees of availability, price, safety, or quality of any tourism service.

3. Plans and pricing

Prices may change with prior notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

4. Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use The Plan. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Account and user data

When you interact with the bot, The Plan stores data such as your travel preferences, trip plans, and conversation history to provide personalized service. You can:

• Export all your data with the /exportdata command
• Delete your account and all your data with /deleteaccount

6. Acceptable use

By using The Plan, you agree to:

• Not use the Service for illegal or fraudulent activities
• Not attempt to access other users' data
• Not abuse the messaging system (spam, automated attacks)
• Not attempt to circumvent the free plan message limits
• Not use the bot to generate harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms.

7. Artificial intelligence and limitations

The Plan's recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence. This means:

• Responses may contain errors or outdated information
• Prices, hours, and availability shown are approximate and may vary
• Itinerary suggestions do not replace direct verification with travel service providers
• Third-party data (Google, weather, etc.) is subject to the accuracy and availability of those APIs

Always verify critical information (flights, reservations, visa requirements, safety alerts) directly with official sources before making travel decisions.

8. Blog and informational content

Articles published on theplan.travel are informational and do not constitute professional travel advice. The Plan is not responsible for decisions made based on such content.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The Plan is not responsible for:

• Financial losses resulting from travel decisions based on bot recommendations
• Inaccuracies in prices, schedules, routes, or availability shown
• Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure
• Actions of third parties (airlines, hotels, tour operators)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

In no event will The Plan's total liability exceed the amount paid by the user in the previous 12 months.

10. Intellectual property

Content generated by the bot for your personal use belongs to you. The code, design, "The Plan" brand, the "Osi" character, and the website's editorial content are property of The Plan.

11. Modifications to the service and terms

We may update these terms or modify the Service at any time. Significant changes will be notified through Telegram with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Cancellation

You can stop using the Service at any time. For paid plans, you can cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle. You can delete all your data with the /deleteaccount command.

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any controversy will be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico City.
